Two-factor authentication is a security measure used to assure account activity is legitimate and authorized. CryptX Terminal uses Google Authenticator to provide one-time passcodes.
 |
To use Google Authenticator, download the app to your phone. |
|
- Under settings, click Enable next to Google Authentication

- A QR code will be displayed, which you can scan into the app or you can enter the text code
→ You may need this code to restore your account if you lose your phone or delete the Google Authenticator app, so store it somewhere safely.
- To enable Google Authenticator on an account, you will enter your login password & then enter the temporary Google Authentication code.
Each Google Authenticator code is valid for 30 seconds, so only use a code while it is displayed. Otherwise, just use the next generated code.
